Salman Khan and South megastar Rajinikanth are known to share a good bond. Recently, Salman also showed up at the first look launch of Rajinikanth's 2.0 uninvited.
"I learnt about the launch and wanted to see Rajnikanth garu (sir). He is a most amazing man and I have a lot of respect for him," the Sultan actor had said. The South star, overwhelmed with Salman's gesture, said that he would like to collaborate with Salman on a project some time. "Even tomorrow if Salman says yes, I'm ready," he said.
Now, a DNA report said that the two would be teaming up for a film, which would be produced by South producer, Rockline Venkatesh. Venkatesh has earlier worked with both the stars. He had co-produced Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman and Lingaa with Rajnikanth.
The report also said that the massive project was in the initial stage. However, the producer maintained that no such move has been made. "When Rajini decides to work with someone, everything just falls into place and things go at a rapid pace. On my part, there is no such move. I will announce my next movie at a suitable time," Venkatesh told the daily.
Meanwhile, Salman is busy shooting for his upcoming film Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan. Tubelight is one of the most anticipated films and is based on a historical war. The film also features 32-year-old Chinese actress and singer Zhu Zhu and Salman's brother Sohail Khan.
On the other hand, 2.0 is the sequel to the 2010 Tamil blockbuster Enthiran and stars Akshay Kumar as main antagonist. While megastar Rajinikanth returns as scientist Vaseegaran, Akshay will be seen as an eccentric scientist called Richard.
