Things seem to be falling in place for Rajinikanth and Ranjith's movie as the makers of the movie have decided to begin the shooting in August.
The buzz suggests that the formal muhurat function of the movie will take place soon. But the shooting will only begin in August. The majority of the shooting will be held in Malaysia. The director is already in Malaysia and scouting locations for the untitled movie.
It is said to be a gangster movie, where Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of a don, but the superstar will be seen sans glamour. Like his usual roles, the actor's character is not sketched with larger-than-life scenes rather he will be projected like a normal human being.
There are reports that Rajinikanth will be seen in only 60 percent of the movie. As a result, there seems to be no heroine for him in the Tamil flick. However, rumours had it that Nayantara would be seen in the female lead role. But, nothing is official as yet.
This movie comes at a very crucial period for Rajinikanth as his box office market has seen a dip due to the back-to-back failures of his animation movie "Kochadaiiyaan" and "Lingaa".
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is also meeting a lot of directors and discussing about his projects. He had recently met AR Murugadoss, Raghava Lawrence and Shankar.
While Raghava Lawrence's story has not got the green signal from the superstar, Shankar's story is being delayed as it consumes a lot of time and energy of the actor. It is reported that Shankar wants to do "Enthiran" sequel and it could possibly take off in 2016.
