The makers of "Kabali" had announced that the special shows and private screening of the film had been cancelled. But the latest we hear from the industry is that the "Kabali" team held a private screening for Kamal Haasan.
It is understood that the special shows, conducted for the friends and family of Rajinikanth, were apparently kept on hold as Ulaganayagan Kamal could not watch it as he was hospitalised. The "Vishwaroopam" actor was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai due to a minor leg fracture he suffered after he slipped and fell on the stairs of his office on July 13.

Kamal had previously attended the special screening of Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan" directed by his daughter Soundarya. The friendship shared by both Rajinikanth and Kamal is a well known fact and duo have always supported each other by giving valuable comments on their movies.
The superstar's avatar in the movie has already raised the expectations of the audience. The pre-release hype of "Kabali" is evident as most of the tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday have been sold out in several cities soon after the advance booking option was made available on Book My Show. The upcoming movie also stars Radhika Apte, Winston Chao, Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi and Kishore in key roles.
