The launch event witnessed the presence of some of the biggest stars from the film industry including Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, director and superstar's mentor Balachander, Jackie Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar, AR Rahman, Shankar, Vairamuthu among others.
The historic drama has music composed by AR Rahman. There are nine tracks in the film and some of the prominent singers from the industry have crooned the songs. To look at the track list, click HERE.

"Kochadaiiyaan" trailer was released at the audio launch. The trailer gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the film. Unlike the first look teaser which showed only Rajinikanth, the trailer introduces several characters including that of Deepika Padukone, Nassar, Aadhi and Jackie Shroff. "Kochadaiiyaan" will mark the directorial debut of Soundarya, Rajini's younger daughter.
The historic drama, deemed as India's first performance capture photorealistic film, will have the superstar appearing in a dual role - Kochadaiiyaan and Rana. Deepika Padukone will appear in the role of princess Vadhana Devi.
The Rajinikanth starrer, jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment, is slated to hit the screens on 11 April. The film is likely to be censored soon and will be releasing in six languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Bhojpuri and Punjabi.
