A toddler who fell into a borewell yesterday afternoon while playing near her house has been rescued after nearly 12 hours.
Anil Kayal, additional SP-Dausa said that Jyoti Meena, 5, was playing near her house in the agricultural area in Biharipura village of Dausa district when she fell into the borewell. She got stuck at 50 feet in the 200 feet borewell at around 1.30 pm, reported PTI.
He added that district administration officials and rescue teams rushed to the spot to save the girl. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team was also called to help in the rescue process. They used a CCTV camera to find the girl and pulled her out in the early morning hours today, reported ANI.
