Jr NTR and Ram Charan finally started shooting for SS Rajamouli's upcoming project tentatively titled RRR movie on Monday. The video featuring the first shot has been released and gone viral on social media.
Putting an end to all the speculations, SS Rajamouli had launched the RRR movie at a low-key profile ceremony held in Hyderabad on November 11. The film unit started the shooting of its first schedule from Monday (November 19).
The makers tweeted a photo featuring the trio and wrote on the Twitter handle of the film this morning, "The MASSIVE MULTISTARRER shoot begins today. #RRRShootBegins"
As the shoot began, Jr NTR and Ram Charan and SS Rajamouli also took to social media to share excitement over RRR movie. They also shared a couple of photos taken on the sets of the film. The director tweeted, "RRR starts rolling today... #RRRShootBegins" Besides posting the picture, the mega powers star wrote, "This time it is going to be even more special!! #RRRShootBegins."
The first schedule of RRR movie is reportedly being held for 10 days. The makers have erected massive sets at the aluminium factory in Hyderabad and they are said to have spent a hefty sum on the sets. Jr NTR and Ram Charan are said to be filming some action scene in this schedule.
It should be said here that SS Rajamouli is probably the only Indian filmmaker, who has exploited the social media to the fullest extent. He uses his promotional strategies on this cost-effective medium. He starts building the curiosity from the beginning of his film. It worked wonders for the Baahubali film series.
SS Rajamouli is apparently adapting the same strategy for RRR movie. He has released a short clip of the first shot on social media. The makers tweeted the video and wrote, "ACTION!! The first shot of the MASSIVE MULTISTARRER has been DONE. #RRRShootBegins @tarak9999 #RamCharan @ssrajamouli @srinivas_mohan @DOPSenthilKumar @DVVMovies"
The first shot video of RRR movie shows SS Rajamouli is seen alerting all his team members before he says "Action." K Senthil Kumar is handling the camera work, while visual effects designer V Srinivas Mohan supervise the process. This footage has not only gone viral but also evoked a lot of curiosity.
