Salman Khan, the host of the popular controversial reality show "Bigg Boss" has been blamed for his biased attitude toward some contestants on the show. Recently, the superstar was criticised on social media platforms, after he supported Ali Quli Murza, who misbehaved with women in the "Bigg Boss" house. Earlier, Salman also supported Renee Dhyani on her decision not to take part in the luxury budget task. Even during the previous seasons of the show, the "Dabaang" actor faced flak from his fans on social media for his biases.

Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova was attacked by the fans of Sachin Tendulkar on social media when she said she didn't know the cricket God. The controversy began when a reporter asked Sharapova, "Do you know who Sachin is?" to which she replied, "I don't." Many even used foul language and threatened the tennis star, and #whoismariasharapova hashtag began trending on Facebook and Twitter.
