Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday lashed out at a journalist over a question that he found insulting. The young leader was on a visit to Sunped village in Haryana to meet the kin of a Dalit family, which was allegedly set on fire by upper-caste Hindus on Tuesday.

After meeting the father of the two children who were killed in the incident, Rahul met local community leaders and protesters who had blocked the Ballabhgarh-Faridabad highway demanding immediate arrest. The Congress leader, however, lost his cool with a journalist after the latter dubbed his visit to the village 'a photo opportunity'.

"What do you mean it's a photo opportunity? People are dying in this country left, right and centre. And you are saying it's a photo opportunity?"

"It is insulting. Not to me, but to the family who has gone through this incident," Rahul retorted, according to Indian Express.

Since his angry outburst, the video of the incident is widely being circulated. On Twitter, the incident soon snowballed as many started sharing the video with a caption: "Pappu ko gussa kyon aata hai".
