Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence is on cloud nine after the release of his movie "Kanchana 2". The movie took over the box office like a storm, raking in big money in collections for him.
"Kanchana 2" had won accolades from audience, critics as well as Kollywood personalities. The movie made headlines much before it was released, as the pre-release buzz about the film was high.
Even superstar Rajinikanth was stunned to identify Lawrence and his varied looks in the posters of the movie. He called Lawrence over the phone few days before the release of the movie and predicted that the movie will surely break records.
Another actor who appreciated Lawrence for the success of the movie and his efforts was 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay.
Now, the latest we hear is that Lawrence, who is bowled over by the gracious statements made by his role models, is treating both the stars with a special screening of his latest flick. Superstar Rajinikanth had a special screening of "Kanchana 2" exclusively for him at his home on Monday, 20 April evening.
Now, reports suggest that Vijay who is on a break from the shooting of his upcoming film "Puli", will watch Lawrence'w movie at a special screening.
"Vijay sir has taken a small break from the shoot of 'Puli'. He rang up Raghava on hearing great feedback about 'Kanchana 2', and invited him home. Touched by Vijay sir's gesture, Raghava plans to hold a special screening of the movie," a source close to Raghava told IANS.
