The "Raees" team completed 100 days of shooting a few days ago, and Sunny Leone couldn't be happier. She shared a photo on social media in which she was holding up a badge with the film's poster on it.
A BollywoodLife report stated that the picture was from the sets of the Rahul Dholakia directorial. Could it be Sunny's look from the film? Only time will tell.
Sunny will feature in the rehashed version of yesteryear item number, "Laila O Laila" ("Qurbani"), which starred Zeenat Aman and Feroz Khan. In the special song, the actress will be seen wooing Shah Rukh's character.
"Raees" narrates how a Gujarat-based bootlegger rose to the top. The story is set in the 1980s, which is why the night club-esque set-up and dancers in plumed headgears and sequined gowns fit well.
Since Sunny was going for the toned look, she had to undergo intense training before she began shooting for the song. For a week, she worked out with SRK's trainer Prashant Sawant, who put her on a high-protein diet as well.
Meanwhile, there have been speculations that the first edit of the film is three-and-a-half hours long, but the makers will shorten it by an hour. Also, a SpotboyE report stated that the film's lead pair — SRK and Mahira Khan — has filmed two romantic songs.
However, the filmmaker took to Twitter dismissing reports on the length of the film. "Now people are speculating on length of #Raees first cut ! kuch Bhi Bolte hai," Rahul tweeted.
In other news, Shah Rukh, who plays the titular role in the film, told IANS earlier this month that his co-actors will help him better his performance. "There is Mahira Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. We have really fine actors. I am really impressed by the quality of actors we have in the film and hopefully they will help me improve my performance," he said.
