"Rabhasa", starring Jr NTR and Samantha, is estimated to have around ₹17.6 crore share in six days at the AP/Nizam box office.
The film has witnessed huge drops in its collections since the second day and continues to decline with each passing day.
The NTR starrer fared poorly on the sixth day as well (Wednesday, 1 September). The film has been performing worse than NTR's last release "Ramayya Vastavayya" during weekdays, reported Andhraboxoffice website.
The film is expected to end the first week on a poor note. However, it remains to be seen as to how the film fares in its second week.
Ravi Teja's "Power", which was expected to release on 5 September, has been pushed to 12 September. Whether the delay in the film's release will be able to boost "Rabhasa" business is something one needs to wait and watch.
The film, deemed as a commercial entertainer, has loads of action and comedy. Several critics had termed it as a typical entertainer with nothing new to offer.
NTR's performance won accolades from all quarters, however, that did not help the film to perform well at the box office.
Trade experts will be keen to see how the NTR starrer fares in its second week. If the film fails to pick up in the second week, it will more likely to lose out on the screens as several biggies are gearing up for release from next Friday (12 September).
While "Power" will be hitting screens on 12 September, Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu" will be out on 19 September followed by Gopichand's "Loukyam" on 26 September and Ram Charan's "Govindudu Andari Vaadele" on 1 October.
With so many big releases lined up, it will be difficult for "Rabhasa" to continue its business at the box office.
Meanwhile, NTR has commenced shooting for his next project. The film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, will have Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. This will be the actress' third film with NTR after "Brindavanam" and "Baadshah". Both the films turned out to be successful projects and it will be interesting to see if the pair hits a hat-trick with their upcoming film.
The film, reportedly titled as "Neno Rakam", is produced by Bandla Ganesh under the Parameswara Arts production banner. It is expected to release during the Sankranti festival period in 2015.
