Emraan Hashmi-starrer horror movie "Raaz Reboot" had a decent start at the box office on its opening day, but its collection dropped on day 2. Although it was expected that the film's earning will increase on Saturday, the numbers came down on the 2nd day.
After collecting Rs. 6.30 crore nett at the Indian box office on its first day, "Raaz Reboot" witnessed a fall in its business. The film collected Rs. 5.49 crore nett in the domestic market on day 2, taking its 2 days earning to Rs. 11.79 crore nett.
"#RaazReboot struggles on Sat... Biz declines... Fri 6.30 cr, Sat 5.49 cr. Total: 11.79 cr. India biz [sic]," tweeted Taran Adarsh. The movie had a good opening across North India and in single screen theatres and was expected that the weekend will bring in more moolah for the producers of the movie.
However, it looks like negative reviews have pushed down the hype around the film. Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu-starrer "Pink" was also released alongside "Raaz Reboot."
Although "Pink" made a slow start at the box office, it has been getting a strong word of mouth coupled with positive critics' reviews. Thus, apparently "Pink" can be a reason behind the fall in collection of "Raaz Reboot" on Saturday.
Sunday's collection will be crucial for "Raaz Reboot" as the figures will come down even more after the end of the first weekend. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the movie also features Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora.
