Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's heart must be pumping like never before as the final countdown for the release of his much-hyped film "Ra.One" has began. He has pumped in lots of money into the project to make sure that it comes out good. Now, time has come to see the final verdict, as it is set to be released on Oct. 26.
Shah Rukh started promoting his ambitious film even before its shooting was completed. The first look of the film was released during the ICC Cricket World Cup in March this year.
The actor has tied up with brands like Nokia, Godrej Consumer Products, Coca-Cola, Cinthol, Gitanjali Group, Horlicks, McDonalds and others to promote the film. He has also managed to stick the logo of the film on a Formula One car.
The film is made on an estimate budget of Rs 175 crore (US$39.03 million) and speculations are on that the cost of production would shoot up following extensive promotional campaigns.
However, the estimated pre-release revenue would come as a breather for the actor. The film is said to have netted Rs.132 crore (US$29.44 million) from television broadcasting rights, music rights, film distribution rights etc.
Well, "Ra.One" is expected to make a good opening following the hype around it since it was announced. Let's hope Shah Rukh Khan's hard work pays off at the box office!
