Bollywood actress and "Bigg Boss 3" contestant Shamita Shetty turned 37 on 2 February, but hosted a birthday bash in Mumbai on Wednesday, 3 February. Sister Shilpa Shetty, brother-in-law Raj Kundra and some of her close friends from the film and television fraternity attended the party.
R Madhavan, Ashish Chowdhry, Vivian Dsena, Vahbiz Dorabjee, Kavita Kaushik, Esha Deol, Harman Baweja, Jimmy Shergill, Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel, Nafisa Ali and several other celebrities appeared on Shamita's birthday bash. Father Surendra Shetty and mother Sunanda Shetty were also present.
Shamita looked stunning in her red birthday dress with shiny pointed pumps, while Shilpa stole the limelight in a black top and red skirt. Most of the guests at the party were "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" and "Bigg Boss" contestants.
Though Shamita didn't make it big in Bollywood, but she has been appreciated in her films like "Mohabbatein", "Zeher" and her item song "Sharara Sharara" from the film "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai." She had also received the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year for "Mohabbatein."
In 2011, she started a career in interior design and participated in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" becoming the second runner up of the season.
