Veteran Hindi film and TV actor Deven Verma passed away at the age of 77 of a heart attack and kidney failure in Pune on Tuesday at 2 am.
The legendary actor was well known for his comic roles in films like "Angoor", Golmaal", Rang Birangi", "Chori Mera Kaam", "Andaz Apna Apna", "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Ishq", "Kya Kehna", "Salaakhein", "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai" and "Hulchul". His last Hindi film was "Calcutta Mail" released in 2003.
The award winning comedian won the Filmfare Best Comedian Awards for "Chori Mera Kaam", "Chor Ke Ghar Chor" and "Angoor".

"Angoor"
Deven Verma and Sanjeev Kumar were the lead actors in Gulzar's "Angoor". The actors played double roles, the highlight of the film. Verma's comic timing stole the show and won millions of heart. The veteran was also honored with an award for his performance in the film.
"Andaz Apna Apna"
Verma acted as Aamir Khan's father in the film "Andaz Apna Apna." Though, he had a small part in the film but the actor still managed to show his comedy skills.
"Chamatkar (1992)"
Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Chamatkar" was a ghost comedy film. Verma played the role of Inspector P. K. Santh.
"Hulchul (1995)"
Ajay Devgn and Kajol starrer "Hulchul" also had Deven Verma as Vinod bhai. The hilarious video will show the comedy actor's talent.
