The widely anticipated premiere of "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 2 took place on Thursday, Aug. 25 and every single was gagging at how amazing all the queens looked. However, if you were looking for some tea on the show, there was none spilled.
The villains of the past have all reformed and are now here for redemption, while enemies have buried the hatchet and have become BFFS. Despite the overall positivity of the episode, sadly one talented queen had to go home and it happened to be the beautiful Coco Montrese.
As part of International Business Times, India's weekly "Queen That Sashayed Away" series, Coco spoke to us regarding her journey. Check out what she had to say:
International Business Times: What was your reaction on hearing about elimination twist this season- That Ru will not make the final decision?
Coco Montrese: Oh no! This could be either really good or really bad.
IBT: You took a risk and stepped out of your comfort zone for your talent show. Unfortunately it didn't pay off. Do you regret making that decision now?
Coco: I don't regret my decision because I learned a lot from it. You have to take chances. You have to fall so you can get back up, and get back up even better. If you don't take chances you become stagnant.
IBT: You were quite confident that Roxxxy would not eliminate you if she wins the lip sync challenge. Now that the competition is over, do you respect her decision?
Coco: I do. She did what she felt was best. Even if the other girls didn't agree, Roxxxy was the one in charge. I think she made the decision not out of spite, but because she felt it was the best decision at the time.
IBT: Your Janet Jackson impersonation was amazing. What did you have prepared for Snatch Game this time around?
Coco: NeNe Leakes from 'Real Housewives of Atlanta.' She;s so sassy! I love her!
IBT: After "All Stars 2" Season 9 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" will commence. Is there any queen you would to see in the mix next season?
Coco: Oh gosh! There's so many great queens across the world! Nina West, Dee Ranged and Kimora Blac- she's amazing!
IBT: What can fans look forward to from Coco Montrese?
Coco: I'll never give up. I will always be working to bring them something fresh and something new. I have A LOT of stuff coming up! A lot, A LOT! I am actually going to be auctioning off the pink chiffon gown I wore for my talent show on All Stars and the proceeds will benefit an HIV and AIDs organisation. Keep an eye on my social media in the very near future for further details! Stay tuned!
