An unverified report is making the rounds claiming that the Queen has gifted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a new castle because the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant.
It was recently reported that Queen Elizabeth is gifting the Adelaide Cottage to Harry and Meghan. The huge property is located at the Windsor Castle estate. The cottage was the former residence of Peter Townsend, the Queen's late sister Princess Margaret's lover, People magazine reported.
According to OK! Magazine, the castle has been gifted to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex because they are expecting their first child. Apparently, the couple is considering renovating the castle and shifting there permanently. The couple is currently residing at Nottingham Cottage in the compound of Kensington Palace.
The report further claims that there are two nurseries in the making at the allegedly new residence. "Given that they're rushing to make room for a baby, palace insiders are whispering that they could be expecting already. Harry and Meghan are designing the nurseries together," the source claims.
It's also stated that there will be "plenty of space" for Markle's mom to "stay and help out once the baby arrives."
However, the report doesn't state when the couple is going to announce their pregnancy and if Meghan is pregnant, when is she expected to deliver. Gossip Cop also suggests that the report could not be true.
This isn't the first time that dubious reports claiming that Meghan could be pregnant have been circulated. Many outlets have been claiming that Meghan is pregnant with twins. But the Duchess hasn't been showing signs of pregnancy in her recent outings.
Neither has the Kensington Palace announced that Meghan and Harry are expecting their first baby.
