The Queen has arrived in Germany along with Prince Philip as part of a three-day tour of the country.
The British monarch was welcomed with a 21-gun salute and a fly-past from Luftwaffe fighter jets upon arrival at Berlins Tegel Airport, where she was greeted by Britains ambassador to Germany, Sir Simon McDonald.
The royal couple were then driven via Bentley, with 15 motorcycle outriders leading the way, to the famous Adlon Hotel in the centre of the capital.
During her state visit the Queen will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Joachim Gauck and also visit the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.
