While several people called the killing of Pakistani model Qandeel Baloch a shame, a few of others called her a disgrace and praised her brother, who reportedly strangled her.
Qandeel, popular for the controversies she created by posting semi-nude photos and videos on social media, was killed by her brother over family honour. Qandeel, who was approached to be a part of Indian reality show "Bigg Boss 10," was in Multan, Pakistan, to celebrate Eid. Her brother killed her over honour and reportedly fled the city.
"Baloch was killed by her brother over honour in Muzaffarabad's Green Town area," the Express Tribune quoted the area's RPO as saying.
Qandeel's death came as a shock to several in India and Pakistan, but there are few who called her a disgrace to the society and praised her brother. A few even said that "honour killing is good sometimes."
