The Kannada movie will have its premiere April 21 in Australia.
Puneeth Rajkumar will be in Australia from April 14 to shoot for his other project, "Raajkumara," directed by Santhosh Ananddram. Hence, he will attend the premiere show there, reports the New Indian Express.
"Chakravyuha" will release in over 50 countries, including the U.S., the U.K., South Africa, Malaysia, Canada and Hong Kong. In India, it will hit the screens simultaneously in Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi.
The Kannada film is one of the biggest releases of 2016 in Sandalwood. Puneeth Rajkumar's film has generated a lot of buzz around it through the song "Geleya Geleya," sung by Telugu actor Junior NTR. The trailer has also garnered lot of attention, leading the makers of "Chakravyuha" to plan for a big release.
"Chakravyuha" has been written and directed by Tamil filmmaker M Saravanan. NK Lohith has bankrolled the flick, which has Rachita Ram as the female lead. Arun Vijay will be seen in the role of a baddie. Sadhu Kokila, Abhimanyu Singh, Bhavya and others are in the cast.
It is said to be the remake of the Tamil movie "Ivan Veramathiri," which was directed by Saravanan himself. But as per the makers, 90 percent of the script has undergone changes and they have retained only the outline of the story.
