Even after over two months of release, superstar Mohanlal's latest movie Pulimurugan has been running successfully in screens worldwide. The Vysakh directorial, which became the first Mollywood movie to enter the Rs 100 crore club, has raked in over Rs 120 crore, thus becoming the biggest grosser in Malayalam to date.

According to trade analysts, the action thriller has minted approximately Rs 126.40 crore from throughout the world within two months. The Mohanlal-starrer is believed to have earned more than Rs 80 crore from Kerala alone and almost Rs 9 crore from rest of India markets and is on a spree of making many records at the box office.

The earnings of the big budget entertainer made from the GCC and the UAE market is believed to be Rs 32.80 crore since November 3, while Pulimurugan collected Rs 3.60 crore from the US and the UK, and over Rs 1 crore from other overseas markets.
Meanwhile, the Telugu dubbed version of Pulimurugan, titled Manyam Puli, has also been opened to a fabulous response from the Tollywood audience. It is believed to have earned more than Rs 3.70 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions alone within two weeks of its release. The thriller, bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakupaadan, has been performing well in the overseas markets as well with earnings of Rs 38 lakh, Rs 28 lakh and Rs 50 lakh from the GCC and the UAE, the US and other areas taking a total of Rs 4.86 crore for the Telugu version.
Thus, the worldwide box office collection of the Mohanlal-starrer from its Malayalam and Telugu versions is said to be more than Rs 131.26 crore. The adventure thriller revolves around the story of a man who is the only saviour for the villagers near a forest area facing regular tiger attacks.
