After Malayalam crime thriller Oppam, superstar Mohanlal is set to enthral his fans with his upcoming action thriller Pulimurugan, which is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
The Vysakh directorial bagged a 'U' certificate from the regional censor board on September 4 with a duration of 2-hour-41-minute. The movie is now set to hit the worldwide screens on October 7.
The advance booking option for the Mohanlal-starrer has been opened in many theatres in Thiruvananthapuram and its status reveals that it will be screened with houseful shows all over the state, where the versatile actor enjoys a huge fan following.
Produced by Antony Mulakupaadam, Pulimurugan is expected to make earth shattering collections at the box office. Like any superstar's movies, the Mohanlal-starrer is also expected to perform well on the opening day at the box office.
The good business of Pulimurugan is likely to affect the collection record of Priyadarshan's directorial venture Oppam, which is currently enjoying a good run in Kerala. The crime thriller, in which Mohanlal plays the role of a visually challenged man, is said to have earned a gross collection of Rs 32.83 crore within 26 days of its theatrical run in the state.
