The Tamil first look of Vijay's "Puli" was released last month on the movie's lead actor's birthday. Now, the first look of Hindi and Telugu versions have been unveiled.
The makers have released "PulI" first look, in which Vijay, Kiccha Sudeep and Sridevi, are seen. The only difference between the Hindi and Telugu looks is the text, which has been written in the respective languages.
We have to note that in the Tamil version of "Puli" first look, only Vijay was seen. But in the Telugu and Hindi versions, Sudeep and Sridevi are also seen.
This is because the Kannada superstar and Sridevi are selling faces in Bollywood and the idea to promote them apart from Vijay is considered as a good strategy. As we all know, Kiccha is a popular name in the Telugu industry due to "Naan Ee" ("Eega" in Telugu) and Sridevi is a star of her era in both Bollywood and Tollywood.
"Puli" is an fantasy action adventure, directed by Chimbudevan and produced by Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar. It is made with the budget of ₹100+ crore. Apart from Vijay, Sudeep and Sridevi, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani are part the cast.
The Tamil version of the movie is expected to hit the screens by the end of August. Prior to the film's release, the makers will release the audio and trailer on 2 August. However, it is not sure if all the three versions will be released on the same day.
Earlier, there were instances of different versions releasing on different dates. "Puli" has Devi Sri Prasad's music, Natarajan Subramaniam's cinematography and Sreekar Prasad's editing.
