Rajinikanth has said that he is highly impressed by the grand sets and colourful visuals. He also pointed out that he liked Vijay's electrifying acting in the flick. The superstar also praised Sridevi's performance and also had good words about the quality of the film, which he compared to Hollywood standards.
The "Endhiran" actor's appreciation has come as a big boost for "Puli", which desperately needs good word-of-mouth as it has got negative audience reviews. SKT Studios, the official Twitter handle of "Puli", thanked Rajini for his appreciation and posted "Our heartfelt thanks to @superstarrajini sir for appreciating our effort by calling us in person after watching #Puli."
Like Rajinikanth, actress Tamanna Bhatia too has praised "Puli". "Puli" is a fantasy-adventure movie written and directed by Chimbu Deven. Vijay, Kannada superstar Sudeep, yesteryear sensational actress Sridevi Kapoor, Shruti Haasan, and Hansika Motwani are in important roles.
The movie is made on a budget of Rs 100+ crore and it earned Rs 32 crore in its opening weekend.
