PlayerUnknown's Battleground is the mobile sensation and there is going to be another reason to stay hooked to those phone screens while eliminating enemies in the popular battle royale game. It hasn't been long since PUBG Mobile received Season 4 update 0.9.0, but Tencent Games appears to be working on the next big update 0.10.0.
PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 update beta for Android and iOS is out, offering a sneak peek into what's coming next in the game. Tencent Games confirmed the new PUBG mobile update in a recent Reddit post, but it looks like the new beta update is still in its early stages and an official rollout would take some time.
While the PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 release date remains a mystery, Tencent revealed the two big changes in the upcoming update. According to the post, PUBG Mobile players will have a new weapon, Mk47 Mutant rifle, which was previously available on PC and Xbox One platforms.
The new Mk47 Mutant will have multiple fire modes and a 20-bullet clip. The new rifle is more or less similar to AKM with the same base damage, fire rate, DPS, and availability in all maps. Another interesting addition in PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 update beta is Laser Sight attachment, which can be used with Mf47 Mutant for more accurate shots and assist players to navigate in the dark.
Besides the two additions, new PUBG Mobile update is likely to bring more changes to make it a major update. Players can expect customisable screen layout with new presets and variable options, new chat options with additional scripted text and voice dialogue to help communicate with the team, and finally new in-game outfits and bug fixes.
Seeing Tencent has already made PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 beta available, it will be a few weeks at best before we see a stable build. So don't hold your breath on this one as it can take a while. But what you can expect from PUBG Mobile is an interesting outcome from its collaboration with Resident Evil 2.
PUBG Mobile teased a possible zombie mode in the game or at the very least some Resident Evil 2 skins to purchase in the game. But we hope it's the former as players could use some refreshing experience in the game, especially after the Hardcore Mode is no longer available.
