As players, developers, publishers and distributors from the gaming community take a break with the Holidays and the New Year, Sony and Bandai Namco have announced some new games that are in development and are scheduled to roll out in 2016.
This revelation follows the recent announcement of video games like Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom and Ace Combat 7 for PS4, which was divulged via PlayStation blog.
Further, the North American PlayStation blog said that, "As an early Christmas gift we are proud to announce that the following titles will be available across North America for PlayStation fans," and this was also repeated in the European PlayStation blog that said these "titles will be available across Europe and Australia for PlayStation fans."
Below are the titles that were revealed:
Tales of Berseria (PS4): Players will follow the journey of Velvet, the protagonist, who has had a traumatic experience and since then has changed from someone known for her gentleness to one with anger and hatred. The game will feature the series,' "Linear Motion Battle System"
This game is set three years before the Tales of Berseria events. The game will see clash between reason and emotions. This game will also be released on PC.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven (PS4): This is a two versus two 3D action-brawler where players will battle with various characters from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime and manga series. The game is developed by CyberConnect 2, the creators of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series. The series is expected to be launched in 2016.
God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst (PS4 and PS Vita): The game is set in 2050 where the Earth is being consumed by unknown life forms called Oracle Cells. The game sees the transformation of these otherwise harmless looking cells into Aragami, monsters that are known to shatter Earth. The 'God Eaters,' who are the elite Aragami hunters are the only relief Earth has. This game will be releasing in summer 2016 for PC, PS Vita and PS4.
Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force (PS Vita): These are fast-paced, two-versus-two gameplay where legendary pilot, Mobile Suits heads different missions that will involve strategic Team battles and differing scenarios. This game is PS Vita exclusive that will be releasing in 2016.
One Piece Burning Blood (PS4): This is the first One Piece fighting game to be announced for PS4 and will feature some new features. Players will see some newly announced editions like Marineford Edition (only 5,000 units) with two figures and an artbook. Pre-ordering the game will land players with bonuses for Burning Blood on PS4 and Xbox One.
