Protesters take to the street after black man Keith Lamont Scott is killed by US police
Crowds surrounded a police cruiser and chanted hand ups, dont shoot in Charlotte, North Carolina, after police shot and killed black man Keith Lamont Scott on 20 September. Officer Brentley Vinson fatally shot Scott whilst searching for a different suspect, which has triggered protests and outrage in the local community.
