Tollywood actor Prosenjit Chatterjee's wife Arpita Chatterjee is all set to make her Bollywood debut in upcoming movie "Shab" and reports say the Bengali actress will go topless for a scene in the film.
Directed by Onir, the movie "Shab" will reportedly have a scene in which Arpita Chatterjee will be seen stripping down and going topless.
Prosenjit was initially "scandalized" by his wife's role, but later realized that the scene was a demand of the script, Deccan Chronicle reported.
However, Arpita said that she was able to carry off the scene without much discomfort, adding that the topless scene in the Bollywood movie will be "aesthetic" and not "sleazy", the report added.
Arpita Chatterjee is a popular face in the Bengali film industry. Having made her debut in 1999 with the Bengali movie "Tumi Ele Tai", the actress made a name in Tollywood with films like "Deba", "Debdas", "Dada Thakur" and "Anupama" among many others.
The movie "Shab" is reportedly a dark, edgy film based on the life of four characters, who lead a dual life. However, things change suddenly when their masks come off. The film also features Raveena Tandon and Ashish Bishy among others.
