We are into the final game of the Pro Wrestling League 2015 in the league phase. Two of the most decorated teams of the competition -- Mumbai Garuda and Haryana Hammers -- battle it out on Thursday at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru.
The teams will be meeting again in the PWL 2015 playoffs, which gets under way from tomorrow at the IGI Indoor Stadium in the national capital. While Mumbai Garuda have won all their previous four matches in the competition, Haryana Hammers have lost just once.
The Mumbai side, led by 'icon' player Adeline Gray, also became the first team to make it to the playoffs this year. They defeated Dilli Veer on Monday in their previous fixture in a convincing fashion.
The Haryana side, meanwhile, come into this game at the backdrop of a defeat against Punjab Royals. Nevertheless, one can expect the match to be closely fought, and a cracker could just be on the cards tonight.
Yogeshwar Dutt remains the biggest name for Haryana Hammers, and the 2012 Olympics Bronze medallist has been one of the reasons why Team Haryana have come so far in the competition this year. The team also have the costliest player of the league, Oksana Herhel, in their midst.
For Mumbai, apart from Gray, Amit Dhankar remains one of the big names.
Mumbai Garuda vs Haryana Hammers is scheduled for a 7 pm IST start.
