The scintillating Pro Kabaddi is in its fourth edition and over every edition star names have kept increasing and that has remained one of the many reasons why the competition is getting so popular among the Indian sports fans. Mohit Chhillar, Sandeep Narwal, Anup Kumar, Deepak Narwal and Jang Kun Lee have all become household names as of now.

The good news remains that all these big names will once again be plying their trade in the Pro Kabaddi season 4. In the Pro Kabaddi season 4 auction last month, Mohit and Sandeep remained the big draws. While the former moved to Bengaluru Bulls for a whopping Rs. 53 lakh, Sandeep was bagged by Telugu Titans for Rs. 45.5 lakh.
The amount of investment made by the eight franchisees on the players give an identification on how popular and important they have become over the years. As many as 24 international players from 12 countries including Iran, Kenya, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea and the United Kingdom will be seen in action this time around.
The Pro Kabaddi season 4 has also allocated 15 players from the Indian defence services, reports IANS.
"The past three seasons have proven that the country is ready to not only watch and accept more of Pro Kabaddi, but also form loyalties toward players and teams. Season 4 will only reinforce that the Kabaddi eco system will grow stronger as the league progresses," said Janardan Singh Gehlot, International Kabaddi Federation president, to the Indian Express.
