The Pro Kabaddi League 2015 has seen it all in the last few days as the teams get their first breather of the competition this year.
Last year's finalists U Mumba have been unstoppable so far, as they have recorded seven wins out of the same number of games this season to take a commanding nine-point lead over second placed Telugu Titans in the eight-team table.
Bengaluru Bulls may be third at the moment, with just one point separating them and the Hyderabad side in the table, but their men have already made a mark.
Bulls star raider Ajay Thakur has already notched 150 raid points in Pro Kabaddi, and with more games remaining this year, there will be plenty more points to come.
The lucrative kabaddi league has also seen the first draw of the competition this year, as Patna Pirates and Bengal Warriors were tied 20-20 in their game yesterday at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna.
The Warriors did open the proceedings well enough in the match, with South Korean Jang Kun Lee showing his class once again, but Gurvinder Singh of the Pirates played his part as well to reduce the gap that was developing between the sides.
Sunil Kumar and Vineet Sharma also played their part in the match for the Patna Pirates and the Bengal Warriors respectively, as both teams won three points each after the draw.
While Patna remain in fourth, the Bengal Warriors moved to the seventh place – just a point ahead of rockbottom side Puneri Paltan.
"We are slightly disappointed that we could not finish with a win. A draw was a fair result considering how strong Bengal was tonight," Patna skipper Sandeep Narwal said after the match yesterday.
"The crowd support has been superb and was one of the main reasons that we were able to turn around the results after the first loss in the home leg vs Telugu Titans. We will be aiming to continuing our good performances from here and win as many matches as possible."
Meanwhile, there's no stopping U Mumba as they are destined for the playoffs this year.
"This shows overall we have a good team and it's a good feeling when the youngsters perform," U Mumba's Anup Kumar praised his teammate Bhupender Singh, after the youngster powered his team to a 27-22 victory over Dabang Delhi in their seventh game this year.
But one also has to sympathise with defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers.
With five losses and just two wins from their seven games so far, it looks a hefty task for the Jaipur Pink Panthers to make it to the top four. They are as many as 23 points adrift of leaders U Mumba.
Points Tally: U Mumba [35]; Telugu Titans [26]; Bengaluru Bulls [25]; Patna Pirates [20]; Dabang Delhi [16]; Jaipur Pink Panthers [13]; Bengal Warriors [11]; Puneri Paltan [10]
