It looks like Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone's loss is Priyanka Chopra's gain, as she might end up as lead in Salman Khan starrer "Sultan".
According to reports, Priyanka has been approached for the female lead opposite Salman in Yash Raj Films' production venture "Sultan".
Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that Kangana has been signed for the female lead role, but the actress clarified that she is working on Vishal Bhardwaj's film "Rangoon".
"Yes, Sultan's dates are clashing with Rangoon and I am already committed to Rangoon," Kangana said, according to DNA.
Later, there were reports that Deepika Padukone has been approached for the same role. But the actress opted out since she has already signed "Dhoom 3" director Vijay Krishna Acharya's next starring Hrithik Roshan, according to 9xe.com.
Apparently, the shooting of "Sultan" and Hrithik starrer will start around the same time and hence Deepika opted out of Salman's film.
And now the makers are in talks with Priyanka for the strong role opposite Salman. Priyanka and Salman have previously shared screen space in three films, including "Salaam-E-Ishq", "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and "God Tussi Great Ho".
However, there has been no official announcement from Yash Raj Films regarding the same.
