Good friend Kangana Ranaut has confirmed Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' engagement and impending marriage.
The Queen actress said that she spoke to Priyanka, and the latter is very excited about her wedding.
"I spoke to Priyanka the other day and I congratulated her. She responded in a very... She seems excited and very happy. If such an event is taking place, I'd love to celebrate with her because she is lovely and she deserves all the happiness. She is a very dear friend. I get very happy and excited with weddings and engagements," The Asian Age quoted Kangana as saying, when asked about PeeCee's marriage.
However, Kangana said that she does not know the date or month of the big event. Reports suggest that Priyanka and Nick already got engaged sometime back, and are planning to tie the knot this year.
The dusky beauty and Kangana have been good friends since they featured together in 'Fashion'. Although Priyanka has not said anything about her wedding or engagement, Kangana's confirmation is good enough to believe it is indeed going to happen soon.
A few days ago, Priyanka was in news for backing out of Salman Khan starrer Bharat, citing marriage reasons. Although the director of the film had announced the news with a positive tweet, there were reports that had claimed that Salman and the producers of the film were highly miffed with the actress.
One of the producers had even expressed annoyance at the development, calling Priyanka's act "unprofessional". However, Salman's father Salim Khan had again assured that there was no bitter feeling, and such happenings are common in the industry.
Later, Katrina Kaif bagged the role, and Salman announced her entry with a tweet in his own style.
