The makers of the Krrish franchise are toying with the idea of a fourth instalment and in all probability will go ahead with it. But for now, the team isn't willing to part with any crucial information.
When Hrithik Roshan was asked if Priyanka Chopra will be part of Krrish 4, he said: "Now, don't ask me. I don't know anything. Krrish is a while away." That is a fair response given that the script-writing is still on, and the fact that Chopra is yet to sign any Bollywood films.
Also, because it is such a big-budget film, the makers would require the Quantico star to stick around for post-production, promotions and such. Earlier this year, the leading lady wasn't around to talk about Jai Gangaajal as she had to honour professional commitments out West.
The Krrish team plans to kick-start their project by April next year or in 2018, all depending on the kind of VFX work that is required to put the film together.
"We need to work on VFX and that too on our budget. But it should be appealing enough for the audience. We will rope in an international action director for the film. We want to up the scale of action and VFX. Show something that is not done," director producer told the media a few days ago.
In other news, Hrithik is gearing up for Kaabil, in which he plays a visually-impaired individual on a mission to avenge the death of his wife (played by Yami Gautam). Scheduled to be released on January 26, this Sanjay Gupta-directed film will compete with Shah Rukh Khan's Raees at the box office.
