Priyanka Chopra has taken the internet by storm after several reports suggested that she was engaged to boyfriend and pop singer Nick Jonas. Even filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed the news and hinted at Priyanka's wedding with Nick in his tweet while announcing her sudden exit from his upcoming film Bharat starring Salman Khan.
While the preparation for the wedding seems to be going in full swing, the couple had reportedly visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at their residence in London last week, where the actress introduced her boyfriend to her friend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The lovebirds enjoyed some time at the royal couple's house around the same week that Nick reportedly proposed to Priyanka, usmagazine.com reported.
Priyanka and Meghan have shared a good camaraderie for quite a while, and have also been seen spending quality time together. The Quantico actress accompanied Meghan' when she said "I do" to the Duke of Sussex on May 19.
Now, Meghan is reportedly quite excited about her close friend's wedding. Several fans are also wondering whether the Duchess of Sussex will turn bridesmaid for Priyanka when she says "I do" to Nick.
Two weeks ago, Priyanka had opened up about her relationship with Nick and his trip to India.
"We're getting to know each other and I think it was a great experience for him," told People on the sidelines of a recent Vogue event in the Hamptons. "That's what he said. I think he really enjoyed it," she added.
During her trip, Priyanka introduced Nick to her mother Madhu and several other Bollywood celebrities. The couple then took off to Goa for a much-needed vacation and had a great time together. They also attended Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's pre-engagement bash and were seen making an appearance walking hand-in-hand at the ceremony.
"It was really beautiful. He had a great time," Priyanka said.
Over the last several weeks, Priyanka, 35, and Nick, 25, have been spotted enjoying their time together over dinner dates in New York City and also during a Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert show in Los Angeles.
