Priyanka Chopra's scaling newer heights every day. After winning at the People's Choice Award for "Quantico", she appears to have signed "Baywatch" alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

Bollywood A-listers are naturally quite proud of her. On the sidelines of Dabboo Ratnani's calendar launch, Shah Rukh Khan told Pinkvilla he was unaware of any such development but is really glad stars are doing well for themselves in the international circuit. "I don't know about it, I think achievements of all the stars who are doing internationally is fantastic."

Farhan Akhtar, who shares great rapport with Chopra, said she was a "big reason" for him to be proud. "She is doing really well for herself. She is big reason for us to be proud. I loved her in "Bajirao Mastani" and "Quantico"," he told The Press Trust of India. Newbie Athiya Shetty and Alia Bhatt too couldn't stop expressing their joy over the actress' achievements. "More power to her. She is making us and everyone proud," Shetty said.

Meanwhile, sister Parineeti Chopra was quick to ask if the news of her joining Johnson and Efron for "Baywatch" was true. Going by what the screen writers Shannon and Swift have posted on Twitter, the film is definitely on cards. "It's amazing... The things that she is achieving out there are just fabulous. There are things that you and I can dream of and she's doing them. It's amazing," PTI quoted her as saying.

Chopra will be seen playing a baddie in the film in question. It will be interesting to watch her do what she does best on the international screen. On home turf, she has "Jai Gangaajal" lined up for release alongside Prakash Jha.
