Looks like the longstanding catfight between Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor has finally gotten over.
The duo has shared cold vibes since they fell out after doing "Aitraaz" in 2004 and Kapoor has often made sarcastic remarks about Chopra. In the previous seasons of "Koffee with Karan" she was heard questioning the "Gunday" star's accent and even called it fake, to which the former Miss World retorted by comparing her accent to Saif Ali Khan.
But the Begum of Pataudi surprised many when she showed up offering condolences to Chopra last year, when her father passed away from a prolonged illness. Since then, the friction between the two has appeared to be dying down.
This season too both the actresses made separate appearances in Karan Johar's show, but held back from taking digs at each other.
And now Chopra seems to be on a reconciliatory mode. The actress is said to have given her nod to Prabhu Deva's next project, which will star her rival's husband Saif Ali Khan.
Not many know that the actress was previously offered two more films with Khan, but turned them down citing date issues.
"PC couldn't take on 'Cocktail' as she was shooting for 'Barfi' at that time. Similarly, when she was offered Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.'s film 'Happy Ending', she was busy shooting for 'Gunday'. So she missed out on both the films and Deepika Padukone and Ileana D'Cruz were then finalised for these respective roles," Mid Day quoted a source.
The patch up also offers a benefit to the film industry, which would get a fresh on-screen pairing in Khan and Chopra.
