Wink girl Prakash Prakash Varrier is the latest celebrity from South India to have extended help to flood-hit people of Kerala. The actress has donated Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister's Distress Fund of Kerala.

Priya Prakash Varrier announced the news on her Instagram account and clarified that she is not seeking publicity from this announcement. "This Onam, doing what I can for our state.Actions speak louder than words.Mkae your valuable contributions now.This is nothing done for publicity.It is just that people should be aware of the amount we are donating to the fund so that they utilise it properly.Please do not degrade even if not appreciate.#aghoshangalillashamsakalmatram [sic]," she posted.

The actress, who shot to fame with her wink in Manikya Malaraya Poovi song from Oru Adaar Love and became an internet sensation overnight, contributed the money on Friday, August 24.
