Prithviraj Sukumaran is basking in the success of his latest movie "Paavada", which is the fourth blockbuster of the actor in his recent times. The back-to-back success of his four movies — "Ennu Ninte Moideen", "Amar Akbar Anthony", "Anarkali" and "Paavada" — has made him the ruler of the Kerala box office and is now tagged as the most bankable actor of the industry.
Compared to the other stars of the Malayalam entertainment industry, Prithviraj has the maximum number of upcoming movies in his kitty and if latest reports are anything to go by, he will also be seen in debutant Jayakrishnan's directorial venture. Jayakrishnan is a long term associate director of Rajeev Ravi.
The upcoming movie, titled "Ezra", is expected to have "English Vinglish" actor Priya Anand opposite the "Ennu Ninte Moideen" actor. If the rumour is true, it will be the first Malayalam project of Priya, who is known for her roles in Tamil movies like "180", "Vanakkam Chennai", "Oru Oorla Rendu Raja" and "Vai Raja Vai".
"Ezra", which is said to narrate the story of the Jew culture in Kochi's Mattancherry, might go on floors in the first week of May in Kochi. The movie will also be shot in Mumbai, Kochi, Sri Lanka and Dubai, and will be produced under the banner of E for Entertainment.
Prithviraj is currently working for Jijo Antony's "Darvinte Parinamam" and Sujith Vasudev's "James and Alice" and have announced the projects, including James Kottakal's "Beautiful Game", Pradeeo M Nair's "Vimaanam", Rosshan Andrews' "Naale Ravile", RS Vimal's mega budget movie "Karnan", Blessy's "Aadujeevitham" and Jeethu Joseph's untitled flick. Meanwhile, Priya is currently working for the Tamil projects "Kootathil Oruthan" and "Muthuramalingam".
