Prince George took his first steps just a few days ahead of his first birthday. The royal family recently shared a photo of their little son as he took his first steps without any assistance.
In the photo, the little one is seen dressed in a blue dungaree with a navy t-shirt by designer Petit Bateau. It was shared by Kensington Palace to commemorate Prince George's first birthday.
The proud moment of Prince George taking his first steps was taken at the Sensational Butterflies exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London on July 2.
Prince George, the third heir to the British throne, has been the cynosure of media since his birth on July 22, 2013. He has pictured in a stroller with his mother Kate Middelton and also during his christening ceremony despite the royal couple trying to keep him away from photographers.
The little prince became the centre of attraction during Prince William and Kate Middelton's recent tour to New Zealand and Australia. Pictures of him playing in zoo and mingling with other children were published by several media houses from across the world.
Meanwhile, Prince William, who recently made a solo visit to Coventry's War Memorial, told primary school teacher Gill Naylor that Prince George would soon be running.
"I think George will be running faster than me very soon," Prince William said as per E! Online!
The duke even met Leicester resident Mavis Jarvis, 74, and discussed about his beloved son.
"He said George is charging around and opens doors," Jarvis said about Prince George, adding that William called his son "lovely."
On the other hand, it is suggested that Middleton is expecting her second child. It was earlier reported that she was expecting twin girls.
"Kate's face is fuller like it was when she was first expecting George and she's been changing her hair, which could be to disguise the fullness. She has rosy cheeks, she's letting her greys show again, and whenever she's out in public she goes to great lengths to hold something over her tummy..." Jessica Hay, alleged friend of Middelton, told Australia's New Day, according to The Hollywood Gossip.
Middelton and Prince William will celebrate Prince George's birthday on Tuesday, July 22.
