If you have been playing Destiny on your previous generation consoles like the Xbox 360 and PS3, we are afraid you are in for some major bad news. According to the reports, the players who are currently on their last gen consoles for the game may face a bit of difficulty once the upcoming The Taken King DLC comes around.
Recently, Bungie announced that anyone who plays the game on those systems could have to upgrade to make sure the upcoming DLC work properly.
In case you weren't aware, The Taken King expansion takes up at least 10 GB of free space on the 360, while PS3 owners will require about 20 GB of free space during its installation, alongside another 10 GB for the required update after installation.
However, before The Taken King releases, the fans can expect a "major" update on 8 September that all Destiny players will need to download to continue playing the game, irrespective of whether they have bought the expansion or not.
So, anyone still playing the game on the last generation consoles and intends on playing the game on the aforementioned consoles here after, it's advisable that they upgrade their hard drives as soon as possible.
As of now, Destiny's The Taken King DLC is set for a 15 September release.
