According to one popular theory, AD is Spencer's twin and as the season progresses, this theory seems more plausible. And viewers have already seen Spencer's twin as Bethany Young.

Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily on the show, recently opened up about the endgame and said there couldn't have been a better finale.
"I think we're ending it at the most perfect time and honestly, there couldn't have been a better ending for this," she said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "The whole arc, I don't know how you guys did it, to honestly keep a mystery going on for that long and still have every episode be such an amazing one to watch that's kept the fans engaged is incredible," Mitchell said.
