Season 7 episode 13 of Pretty Little Liars finally killed off Yvonne, Toby's fiancée who later became his bride. While it is sad to see Kara Royster go, the death wasn't as shocking because fans have been predicting her demise ever since Toby and Yvonne got together.
Toby is clearly devastated that his new bride is gone forever, but Yvonne's death has paved the way for Toby and Spencer to rekindle their romance.
Royster left the series before the final episode of the season, but she managed to find out who AD is, and in a recent interview she said the reveal will be a shock to many.
"It's absolutely insane. Everyone's like, 'Oh, I know who it is!' and I was like, 'You don't. You definitely don't,'" she toldET. "I was so satisfied as a fan. I went up to [PLL executive producer] Marlene [King], I was like, 'Thank you! On behalf of everybody, thank you so much for this.'"
As for what's in store for Toby, Keegan Allen said that his character will go down a dark path now that he has lost his wife.
"[He's gone] from being like, the black cat of Rosewood, to the so-called murderer, to the villain, to the moral compass, to the boyfriend," he rsaid. "All of these things happened, so it it's been pretty interesting. I don't know if [Toby's path] is going to be as dark as the other characters, but there is a darkness that surrounds Tobias in the last few episodes. It's pretty unreal what ends up happening -- the reveals are really crazy."
Meanwhile, the promo for next week's episode hints at the Liars finding out the identity of Mrs Dilaurentis' killer.
