"Pretty Little Liars" executive producer Marlene King's recent Instagram post has sparked rumours that Aria and Ezra could end up together post the five-year time-jump.
King posted online the photograph of an artwork in one of the Liars' room with the caption: "New artwork in a PLL's new bedroom. Who do you think it belongs to? @itsashbenzo, @lucyhale, @shaym, @sashapieterse27 or @sleepinthegardn ? #PrettyLittleLiars #PrettyLittleBedroom."
The artwork shows two dark-haired people in bed, and speculations are rife that the people in the artwork are Aria and Ezra.
However, Lucy Hale, the actress who plays Aria, had said earlier that her character won't be with the former English teacher in season 6B.
"They say goodbye to each other, they go and live their separate lives. He develops a relationship with a woman, and I'm with someone else," Hale said, according to Seventeen.
She also hinted at the possibility of the couple getting back together, noting: "When they see each other again, it's just undeniable. I want like a big marriage episode, but we'll see."
In the meantime, King has been sharing a few season 6B spoilers on Twitter, and it looks like the second half of the season is high on romance.
"There is more romance in 620 than we have had in a finale since season 3," King tweeted. "The title for 620 is Hush Hush Sweet Liars."
The cast and crew are currently shooting the season 6 finale, and King tweeted that it takes the story to a "provocative place."
"I can't believe we are already shooting next season's finale. #pllfamily #PllLove #FiveYearsLater," the showrunner wrote. "I'm blown away by how awesome the PLL cast and crew R. This finale takes us to a new and provocative place. What a ride. #FiveYearsLater."
Season 6B of "Pretty Little Liars" will return to ABC Family in January with the episode "Of Late I Think of Rosewood." The episode will feature a five-year time-jump that will see the Liars – Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer – returning to Rosewood.
