The mid-season finale of "Pretty Little Liars" will answer a lot of questions about Charles, who is believed to be A, and why he has been torturing the Liars all this while.
The summer finale will also reveal Charles' true identity, and according to spoilers, Alison will be the first one to see him unmasked. But the Liars will have to go through more torture before Charles comes out in the open.
For instance, the 4 August episode will see the girls being prevented from attending their prom for "security" reasons. But they will still get to have fun as their moms throw a DIY dance in Spencer's barn, reported TVLine.
However, the situation takes a turn for the worse, thanks to Charles who wants them to have "a night they will never forget."
While the summer finale will undoubtedly solve a lot of questions, it is going to leave a lot unanswered, as fans have been predicting that executive producer Marlene King will introduce Uber A. While Charles is Big A, theories floating around suggest the presence of Uber A, who is much above Charles.
King neither confirmed nor denied these theories, instead told Entertainment Weekly in March that she wasn't going to comment on Uber A.
"I'm not going to tell you just yet because that might ruin it down the line," King told EW. "I'm not going to comment on Uber 'A.'"
Meanwhile, Tuesday's episode entitled "O Brother, Where Art Thou" will see Mr DiLaurentis trying to keep his children safe from Charles.
"Mr. DiLaurentis wants to quickly get out of town to hide Ali and Jason from their brother, while Jason sees this as an opportunity to finally validate all of the early childhood memories of "Charlie." The PLLs are just as split with Spencer and Hanna seeing this as the best chance to capture Charles, while Emily and Aria want to stay far away from him as possible. Will Jason be reunited with his brother, or is this just another one of "A"'s traps?" the official synopsis of the episode read.
"Pretty Little Liars" airs Tuesdays on ABC Family.
