Tuesday's episode of "Pretty Little Liars" saw Hanna receiving a scholarship of $30,000 from the Carissimi Group, the same group that shut down Radley Sanitarium.
Although this means Hanna's dream of going to college could become a reality, she is reluctant to take the money as she has a bad feeling about it. And Hanna's instincts could be right because spoilers doing the rounds hint that Charles could somehow be associated with the Carissimi Group.
The episode saw Ashley informing Hanna that Mrs DiLaurentis donated money to the group, and chances are high that she was putting away the money for Charles. This could have been his main source of income.
However, it is not immediately known why Charles would offer the money to Hanna.
Meanwhile, the next episode entitled "FrAmed" will see Alison digging deeper to find out more about her brother, Charles. But what she finds doesn't match with the deranged murderer image he has created.
"O Brother, Where Art Thou" ended with Alison and Jason returning home to a home video playing in the attic. The footage showed the two playing with their "second cousin" Freddy. But Freddy is really Charles, and the footage showed him asking Mrs DiLaurentis when he has to go back, presumably to Radley.
The video was accompanied by a note from Charles that read, "I wAnted to trust you."
The official synopsis for the next week's episode, "FrAmed" states: "After their latest run-in with Charles, tensions are at an all-time high with the PLLs and the town of Rosewood. Aria's big moment of seeing her work displayed in an art gallery is in jeopardy as Ella is determined to keep her safe at home.
"And to top it off, the one normal high-school rite of passage the girls are looking forward to is in danger as Rosewood High is considering not letting the PLLs attend prom due to security issues."
"Pretty Little Liars" airs Tuesdays on ABC Family.
