Malayalam star Nivin Pauly is now being flooded with offers from various industries. The latest we hear is that the "Premam" star is set to feature in Tamil and Malayalam remakes of Kannada movie "Ulidavaru Kandante".
Nivin, who will be the lead in both the versions, will be directed by Gautham Ramachandran. The movie's script will be written by Rakshit Shetty.
"The Kannada version was set in parts of Magaluru and against the backdrop of the Janamshatami festival. A lot of work is going in to the pre-production stage to ensure the background remains just as strong. The team has identified a place on the border of Tamil Nadu and Kera for this, and it will mostly be set during Mother Mary's birth anniversary", Rakshit told The Times of India.
"Ulidavaru Kandante", which was released in March 2014, had opened to mixed reviews by critics and had emerged as a highly successful Kannada movie at the box office in the recent past.
It recently won the Filmfare Awards for Best Director, Best Music Director and Best Male Playback Singer.
Nivin Pauly is currently basking in the success of his Malayalam movies "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" and "Premam". He is currently shooting for "Action Hero Biju" being directed by Abrid Shine, who had previously made the hit film "1983" starring Nivin Pauly.
