She stole the heart of Malayalam film lovers by portraying the central character Malar in the hit film "Premam". Since then, the audience has been waiting to see more of Sai Palllavi.
Recently, there were rumours that the actress will be seen opposite Asif Ali in the upcoming movie "Inspector Dawood Ibrahim" aka "IDI".
However, Sai Palllavi has denied the rumours, saying she is still in "Premam" hangover mode and has not yet decided anything about future movies.
"I'm pretty sure dat Dir.Sajid n Actor Asif Ali must be having a good laugh coz of d recent rumor dat i was playing the female lead in IDI.. im still hungover from Premam n its gonna take me a while to consider any other role ," wrote the "Premam" star on her Facebook page.
"Pemam", which stars Nivin Pauly in the lead, was released on 29 May and is still running to packed houses across Kerala. Box office reports suggest that it is the highest grossing Malayalam movie of 2015.
"Inspector Dawood Ibrahim" aka "IDI" starring Asif Ali is the directorial debut of Sajid Yahiya, who is known for his appearances in movies such as "Bangalore Days" and "Friday".
The music of the upcoming movie will be composed by Rahul Raj who was associated with "Annan Thambi", "Ritu", "Bachelor Party", "Oh My Friend" (Telugu), "Kili Poyi" and "London Bridge".
The cinematography of the movie will be taken care of by Abhinandhan Ramanujam who cranked the camera for "Mosayile Kuthira Meenikal" and "Amen."
The movie will be produced by Sajin Jaffar, Asif Ali and Brijeesh Mohamed under the banner of Adam's World of Imagination.
