Director Alphonse Puthren, who is basking in the success of Malayalam film "Premam", is set to marry Aleena Mary Antony, the daughter of film producer Alwin Antony. The marriage will be held in Kochi on 22 August while the engagement will be held on 17 August.
Alphonse, who hails from Aluva, is the son of Puthren Paul and Daisy Chacko. The couple met each other in Chennai, where Aleena is pursuing her master's degree.

Alwin Antony, who is a known face in the Malayalam industry, has produced several films including "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana" (2014), "Daddy Cool" (2009), "July 4" (2007) and "Three Men Army" (1995) under the banner of Ananya Films. He will also be producing the upcoming Nadir Shah directorial, "Amar Akbar Anthony", starring Jayasurya, Indrajith and Prithviraj.
Alphonse debuted with his directorial "Neram" in 2013. The Nivin Pauly starrer was a full-length version of the director's short film "Eli".
His latest film, "Premam", which broke several box-office records in Kerala, has recently been involved in a piracy row. Last week, three former employees of the Thiruvananthapuram office of the Censor Board were arrested for leaking the censor copy of the film.
Alphonse will be next seen in a supporting role in the upcoming Tamil film, "Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkirathu", starring Bobby Simha. Rumours are also that the director is planning a Malayalam film with Mammootty in the lead.
