Actress Sonam Kapoor cancelled her night-out party plans on Thursday because of one call from director Sooraj Barjatya.
The fashionista was all set to have a pyjama party with her childhood friend Pernia Qureshi. Kapoor appeared at the opening of Qureshi's online nightwear store and had planned to have a sleepover.
The actress wore an off-shoulder black Ashi Studio ballroom gown, which looked perfect with diamonds around her neck.
But, later, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" director Barjatya called up Sonam and thrashed all the plans of hers. She was called to shoot a romantic scene with Salman Khan in the early hours of the next day.
Kapoor told Mumbai Mirror, "He told me I had to report on the sets at 5am. Now, I have to cancel the sleepover with my girlfriends at Pernia's apartment and head directly for Karjat."
The fashionista of Bollywood has marked success in both film and fashion industries. Kapoor has been one of the best dressers in most of the events as well.
Recently, the "Dolly Ki Doli" actress unveiled the official logo of first-ever Ciroc Filmfare Style & Glamour Awards. The press conference for this event was held on the same day of her friend Pernia's store launch.
At the press meet, too, the actress looked glamorous in a strapless gown with white Blahnik heels and a sleek hairdo.
The "Khoobsurat" actress was accompanied by Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillai and Diageo India marketing and innovations director, Bhavesh Somaya.
This new award event will held on 26 February at the Taj Lands in Mumbai.
There will be nominations for Most Glamorous Star, Emerging Face of Fashion, Global Icon of the Year, Trendsetter of the Year and so on.
